APRIL’s FEATURED WORK

These are some of my favorite series I have created throughout the years. I came off of a 10-year hiatus. They were a huge help in getting back into the practice of creating art. The subject pure imagination and whimsy. It is now their time to find their forever homes to be enjoyed…or…traded. They are created on trading cards it would only be appropriate.

-The ordinary Walter

The ordinary Walter

Intuitive abstract painter and designs by some dude based in Central New York.

The ordinary Walter practices his arts outside the Greater Utica Area of Central New York. He studied and received his degree in studio arts from the College of Saint Rose in Albany. After Walter returned to the Utica area and was involved with other local artists of the time until 2012 when he went on a 10-year hiatus.  November 6, 2022, The ordinary Walter decided to come out of his hiatus and return to the world of art, with much support from his wife.  The newfound vision of abstract exploration has been fueled from   a nostalgic sensibility. The transformation of his personal collection of records, records covers and junk era trading cards (personal collection and bequeathed collection from his late father) as canvas and textures, creating what he calls a spiritual abstract.
